Christian represents clients in transactional and regulatory compliance matters, including mergers and acquisitions and government audit defense. In March of 2020, with the advent of the Federal C.A.R.E.S. Act, Mr. Bates spearheaded the Firm’s representation of clients in connection with Paycheck Protection Program (“PPP”) loans and forgiveness. A former federal litigation attorney, Christian brings a unique perspective to transactional and compliance work with an eye toward identifying issues that would ultimately cost the clients financially, and addressing them before they become a liability.

Review and an elected Senator in the Student Bar Association.
Christian is admitted to practice before all Ohio courts as well as the United States Federal Court for the Northern
