MARK A. KIKTA

Mark Kikta is head of the Firm’s Commercial Real Estate practice group. Mark serves as legal counsel to various condominium and homeowner associations, and provides consultation to the trust departments of local banking institutions regarding estate planning techniques. Mark is also a member of the Firm’s Tax & Business Organizations practice group and is involved in all aspects of Federal, state and local taxation and wealth transfer and business succession planning.

Mark received his undergraduate and masters degree in Anthropology from the Case Western Reserve University. Mark received his law degree from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. Mark is licensed to practice in all Ohio courts, the United States Federal Court for the Northern District of Ohio and the United States Tax Court. Mark is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, the Cleveland Museum of Arts Planned Giving Council and the Cleveland Zoological Society's Planned Giving Committee. Mark frequently lectures for the National Business Institute and Lorman Education Services on such topics as Federal estate gift taxes and state and local taxation issues.

Mark enjoys hiking, camping and regularly attends events benefitting the Cleveland Zoo and the Cleveland Museum of Art. Mark, his wife Sue, and their son Mark reside in Avon, Ohio.
